Come hike with us at the Double Lake Recreation Area located within the Sam Houston National Forest. Double Lake Recreation Area was built in 1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and offers camping, fishing, swimming, picnicking, hiking, and mountain biking.
We'll go for a 5-mile hike through the forest, taking us around the lake. This is one of a few forest areas around Houston where you can really escape the city sounds and fully dive into the real outdoor experience. We'll end the Hike with a group lunch.
