Bryce Canyon Adventure

Join LGBTQ Outdoors for a multi-day adventure based near Bryce Canyon, with time to explore Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and the surrounding landscapes. This trip blends scenic hikes, iconic viewpoints, unique experiences, and plenty of opportunities to relax and connect with community.

We’ll stay in a spacious Airbnb and enjoy a mix of daytime hikes, sunset and night hikes, stargazing under some of the darkest skies in the country, and evenings around the campfire. Highlights may include horseback riding, ranger-guided programs, park visits, and optional Zion adventures like The Narrows or canyoneering. We’ll also build in downtime to rest and recharge between activities and enjoy a family Pride Night.

This trip is designed to balance adventure and flexibility. All activities and timing are subject to change based on weather, group needs, park conditions, and availability.

Mary is an avid traveler and adventurer. Some favorites include white water rafting in Costa Rica, hiking in Patagonia, scuba diving in Belize, chasing the Northern Lights in Iceland, and pack rafting with LGBTQ Outdoors in Alaska.

She’s also hiked 160 miles of the Camino Frances (Camino de Santiago) in Spain and will hike the West Highland Way in Scotland in May 2026.

Through her travels and adventures, she loves making connections and developing community. This is one of her goals with this trip – to create an inclusive experience that builds connections while exploring some really awesome US National Parks!

Oded Wilson specializes in group building through camping experiences. As an outdoor experiential leader, he has led numerous camping trips throughout his career. Oded’s greatest passion is fostering connections between people and creating tailored experiences for each participant on his trips.

He focuses on teaching valuable social skills, cooking together, and facilitating deep, meaningful experiences in nature. Oded has organized and led multiple trips, managing all logistics and preparing meals outdoors. He is dedicated to designing group bonding activities that align with the individual goals of each participant.

Over the past five years, Oded has successfully led extended camping trips for teens, adults, and young professionals, creating transformative and memorable experiences. Oded is also the Ambassador Program Coordinator for LGBT+ Outdoors.

Day 1

Arrival & Campfire Welcome

  • Arrive and get settled

  • Orientation and overview of the week

  • Evening campfire, stargazing, and community time

Day 2

Hiking & Sunset Views

  • Morning hike with lunch on the trail

Day 3

Horses, Trails & Night Skies
