Each local chapter is led by our dedicated LGBTQ Outdoors Ambassadors, who commit to hosting at least one event every other month in their area. They often host events more frequently. From camping to white water rafting, if it’s an outdoor activity, it’s on the table! Every state or territory (US & Canada) that has an Ambassador is accompanied by a territory-specific Facebook Group to aid in further connecting the local community. Each page is moderated by our Ambassadors and serves as a space to connect with them. Our Ambassador Program is the heartbeat of LGBTQ Outdoors, as it directly connects LGBTQIA+ people to the outdoors and to each other.
