Brazos Bend State Park is a beautiful 5,000-acre park just outside of Houston, known for its peaceful trails, wetlands, prairies, and abundant wildlife. The park is especially famous for its alligators, which you’re likely to spot along the trails and around the many lakes and ponds. It’s a great place to get out of the city, enjoy nature, and see some of Texas’ wildlife up close—while keeping a respectful distance, of course!
We’ll hike approximately 3–4 miles through the park, taking our time to enjoy the scenery and wildlife along the way. The exact distance may vary depending on trail conditions and, most importantly, whether we get rerouted by a gator! 🐊 If an alligator decides to claim the trail, we’ll simply take a different route and keep the adventure going.
