Join us for a day of fall fun as we explore Wisconsin's beautiful Driftless Area! We'll start off with an adventurous hike at Rush Creek State Natural Area on the border of Iowa and Wisconsin. This 3.2-mile trail starts with a 475-foot climb that will reward our efforts with incredible views of the Mississippi River valley and the surrounding bluffs. Please note that the trail is not well maintained, so long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended!
Afterwards, we'll drive to Gays Mills (the Apple Capital of Wisconsin!) to check out the appropriately named Gays Mills Apple Fest and enjoy the selection of vendors and apple items. It is up to yourself to cover your own lunch.
