Houston Botanic Garden is a 132-acre living museum for plants along Sims Bayou in southeast Houston. Opened in 2020 on the former Glenbrook Golf Course site, it now offers curated gardens, natural areas, wetlands, prairie spaces, walking trails, and plant collections that highlight conservation, biodiversity, and Houston’s unique climate.
For our group stroll, we will begin at 11am and walk about 2 miles through the garden’s trails and display areas. Tickets are $12 per adult and can be purchased online at https://hbg.org/ or in person. The route will provide a relaxed opportunity to enjoy the scenery, observe plant collections from around the world, and experience how the Garden blends designed landscapes with the natural bayou environment.
