River Float

Join LGBTQ Outdoors for our Second Annual Float with Pride Fundraiser — a full day of sunshine, community, and unapologetic queer joy!

We’re hitting the water on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, TX for a two- to three-hour float that’s equal parts relaxing and celebratory. Think good vibes, great people, and a river full of LGBTQ+ community energy.

After we drift together, we’ll head over to Landa Park (just 3 miles away) for a free BBQ (yes, veggie options included), cold brews from partners Montucky Cold Snacks, and refreshing sips from Brew Dr. Kombucha.

And we’re not done there…

We’ll wrap up the day with line dancing led by Patrick Thompson, who will teach a couple of dances so no experience is needed. Whether you’re a line dancing pro or have never set foot on a dance floor, you’re welcome. Everyone who attends will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a great prize, and additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase for even more chances to win.

Here’s the heart of it: LGBTQ Outdoors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Every dollar raised helps us continue building inclusive outdoor spaces and experiences for our community across the country. When you show up, you’re not just floating — you’re fueling the movement.

You must be able to swim and stand in moving water
