Columbine Open Space, a former farm property with historic farm buildings, has two loops that we will be walk on. Wide trails that allow for side by side walking and great conversations wind along the wetlands of Plum Creek as well as grasslands and pine forests.
Let's take a morning walk on the Columbine Open Space! Maybe we'll hear the Western Meadowlark's serenading us as we walk by — and keep an eye out for the endangered Preble's Jumping Mouse!
We'll walk both the north loop and the south loop for a total of 3 miles.
