Enjoy a welcoming snowshoe outing at Virginia Meissner Sno-Park — a scenic winter recreation area just outside Bend. This relaxed, social morning on the snow is a great way to get outside, connect with community, and enjoy the winter forest together.

This event will mark the first official LGBT Outdoors event hosted in Bend, helping to grow our LGBTQ+ outdoor community and connection in Central Oregon. The outing is peer-led and intentionally approachable — whether you’re new to snowshoeing or have some experience. I’m newer to snowshoeing as well, and excited to get outside and enjoy the snow together.

Weather and snow conditions will guide our route and experience. While Bend has had a slower start to snowfall this season, we’re hopeful for more snow leading up to the event and will adjust plans as needed to keep things enjoyable and safe.
