Calling all Nomads and Arizona Locals! Join two of your LGBTQ Ambassadors for a unique group hike experience.
We’re offering two simultaneous hike options to make the event inclusive and accessible for all abilities. Choose between a scenic, easy trail for a relaxed nature walk or a challenging summit trail for those seeking adventure. We’ll all reunite afterward for a community “trailgating” picnic at the trailhead.
Easy: Nature Trail Loop (family-friendly, ~0.7 miles, minimal elevation).
Difficult: Hunter Trail to the Summit (strenuous, steep cable sections, ~2 miles round-trip).
Optional camping is available nearby for those who want to turn it into a weekend getaway.
• Picacho Peak State Park Campground (tent + RV, reservations recommended)
• KOA Journey – Picacho / Tucson NW (RV + cabins)
• Beautiful February weather makes for comfortable winter camping
