Join LGBTQ+ Outdoors Nomads for a relaxed, community-focused boondocking campout just outside Picacho Peak State Park. We’ll gather along S Cattle Tank Rd, Marana, AZ 85658 (32.61961, -111.20937) off a paved, 2WD-friendly access road. The host will arrive on February 12 to secure a spacious area for the group, though availability may vary.
This weekend is all about connection, fresh air, and simple outdoor fun. On Friday night, we’ll kick things off with a community potluck—bring a dish to share. Saturday features optional hikes at Picacho Peak State Park (see the LGBTQ+ events listing for details), and on Sunday morning, we’ll wrap up with a short trash-pickup walk to give back to the land that hosts us.
