Robyn Tackitt

She/Her

Robyn Tackitt has been a dedicated LGBT+ Outdoors Ambassador for the past five years. A true outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys a wide range of activities, including backpacking, trail running, rock climbing, and kayaking. When she's not exploring the great outdoors, Robyn works as a paramedic in East Texas, a role that reflects her caring and adventurous spirit. Married to her wonderful wife Clara for over 25 years, Robyn is a proud mom to three boys and a variety of pets too numerous to count. On her days off, you’ll often find her at Cameron Park, either enjoying the trails or volunteering at the Cameron Park Zoo—sometimes even donning her fins as a mermaid!

Brad Bartman

He/Him

Brad Bartman was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where his love for the great outdoors began. From strolling along the river to the fish ladder, hiking through the woods, and exploring the sand dunes, nature has always been a source of joy and peace in his life. Now in his first year as an LGBTQ Outdoors Ambassador, Brad is passionate about creating a safe and welcoming space to share the outdoors with others, helping them discover the same joy and relief it has brought him. When he's not adventuring, Brad works full-time as a farrier, dedicating his days to trimming and shoeing horses.
