Join a fun group of folks as we traverse down the Kickapoo River, famously known as the crookedest river in the world (it definitely isn't straight...).
Our trip will be from Bridge 1 to Bridge 5, an approximately 3-4 hour float, depending on river conditions. Expect to meander along beautiful Wisconsin countryside scenes, cliff faces, and forests. This will be a relaxing and beautiful paddle! Bring your own snacks and drinks!
We will meet promptly at 9:30 AM at the Bridge 1 landing in Ontario, WI. I am happy to shuttle people back to Bridge 1 once we reach Bridge 5, but if you'd like to have a car at Bridge 5 waiting, please have that arranged before 9:30.
If you do not have a watercraft, There are canoe and kayak rentals directly across from the boat landing at Drifty's Canoe rental. Highly recommend booking your watercraft online beforehand! Please let us know in registration if you plan to rent a canoe or kayak, we will make sure to wait for you before departing. It is up to you to pay for a rental, LGBTQ outdoors does not cover rental fees.
